Despite its friendly visuals and free-to-play nature, RuneScape is a game with serious depth. Not only does it have enough content to leech hundreds of valuable hours from the average player, but some of that content is challenging enough to make gamers want to throw their keyboard out the window.

Take for example Tzkal-Zuk, a boss considered Oldschool RuneScape's greatest challenge. Known for dropping the iconic infernal cape, he's the ultimate test for the game's most ambitious players. The kind of players willing to spend dozens of hours preparing just to die over and over again.

Let's put it this way. The average player requires more than 50 tries to kill Tzkal-Zuk, and that's if they're fortunate enough to ever take him down—most don't. Such was the case of randomperson1a on Reddit who said:

It goes without saying that killing Tzkal-Zuk is something worth praising. So what if I told you that one gamer this week managed to kill him without using any hands? Would you be impressed?

Well, that's exactly what happened.

CrippledScape is a 26 year old Twitch streamer with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy of the hands. Driven to play games in spite of this significant disability that prevents normal mouse usage, he uses SmartNav to move the cursor with subtle head movements, and can move a few fingers just enough to click. In other words, he plays every game on ultra hard mode.

Given how much precision you need to be able to move a character around in most games, especially in RuneScape's movement-heavy environment, seeing CrippledScape in action is quite the sight, especially in the case of this week when he downed Tzkal-Zuk, becoming the first "disabled gamer" to successfully defeat the boss.

It was all caught on camera, as seen below:

As you can see in the chat, his viewers were quick to celebrate the accomplishment as he kept his cool like Kobe Bryant in the playoffs.

For a better idea of just how significant this achievement is, AndreiR gave some context to the boss:

Nice work.
