While many things have tried—and failed—to stop bad drivers, an exhaustive list including stoplights, stop signs, and a threatening pile of bricks in Vancouver, it appears a 7.4-magnitude earthquake can now be counted among them.

Roughly nine people were killed and 963 more injured after a massive earthquake hit Taiwan on Wednesday morning.  As locals grappled with the widespread destruction,  nearly-demolished buildings, clouds of dust and even a sloshing swimming pool, one driver had bigger problems — getting the f—k to his destination.

In a now-viral clip, several motorists can be seen hunkering down on what appears to be a suspended bridge in the midst of the earthquake. But more so than shaking street lights and the bridge swaying so intensely that we couldn’t help but wonder if a second Francis Scott Key Bridge fiasco was on the horizon, an unexpected part of the clip managed to steal the show — that one driver doing his d—ndest to get moving.

“It's the we all almost died but we all made it let's go honk,” wrote @ChainLefty alongside a popular re-upload of the clip.

“Light’s not getting any greener pal,” joked @abhayv_21 as @KoWaretaRingo speculated on the driver’s inner monologue.

“Bro was like ‘too that's crazy, anyways,’” they added.

Meanwhile, others backed up the offending driver, arguing that they, too, would have done the same if they were in their shaking shoes.

“I kinda get it, let’s gtf off this bridge???” commented @AmariBailey.

“Ur on a bridge after an earthquake ur crazy if you don't want to gtfo it asap,” @khiroterayego concluded.

We can only hope that this guy got to his destination … one that hopefully remained intact.
