Though the hosts of Ned's Declassified Podcast Survival Guide have garnered a reputation for declassifying a little too much about their time on the Nickelodeon hit, there’s yet another tidbit these actors should have kept under wraps: Their thoughts on the network’s unfolding sexual abuse scandals.

On Monday, hosts Devon Werkheiser, Daniel Curtis Lee and Lindsey Shaw, who respectively played Ned Bigby, Simon “Cookie” Nelson-Cook and Jennifer “Moze” Moseley, and Jennifer Mosely on the beloved series, headed to TikTok live to share their thoughts on the second installment of the explosive Nickelodeon documentary, Quiet on Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV, poking fun at the alleged sexual abuse that took place on Schneider’s Bakery shows.

“We told you never to speak about that. Get back in your hole, Daniel—and give me your holes!”  Werkheiser joked referencing Schnider’s Bakery founder and notorious Nick producer, Dan Schnider.

Werkheiser quickly admitted his joke was not the most tasteful  — “Sorry, we shouldn’t joke about this, we really shouldn’t,” he added — yet he turned the topic to Drake & Josh alum, Drake Bell, whose story of sexual abuse by dialect coach and convicted sex offender, Brian Peck, as a minor played an integral role in the documentary.

“Listen, our set was not like that,” he continued, condemning the alleged abuse “f—king awful.”  The Drake Bell shit is… like, that’s crazy to hear, that is f—ked.”

Though Werkheiser shrugged off the joke as a coping mechanism — “I’m not joking about this anymore,” he said later in the stream, adding that “sometimes humor helps us move through things.” — Bell was not amused by his fellow Nick stars making light of his situation.

“Ned’s Declassless…this is wild…laugh it up guys…laugh it up,” he captioned a repost of the offending clip on Tuesday, one that has since gone viral on Twitter. “Give me your h*les?!!’ Really?!”

But Bell was far from alone in finding the Ned’s Declassified star’s jokes less than funny.

Alongside child actor advocate and Zoey 101 alum Alexa Nikolas who denounced the clip with a simple “WOW,” several fans piled on the clip, calling out Werkheiser’s comments.

“Everything that’s come from this group of people milking the last crumbs of fame they have left has been against my will,” wrote @hiimbobbi.

“That's pathetic af,” added @RainbowzDoge while @Artste93 argued that considering their stories from their time on set, maybe the call was coming from inside the house.

“The irony is, they've been (constantly) talking about all the access to s3x and drugs they had on their set and don't realize that is ALSO an obvious sign of a toxic, corrupt, and inappropriate workplace for children,” they argued.

We can only hope that Werkheiser discovers that much unlike his characters’s middle school survival guide, some things deserve to be thrown in the vault and locked away for good.
