Despite boasting an estimated net worth of $34.3 billion per CBS News, the British Royal Family has yet to put a penny of that into decent camera equipment, sending fans further down the Kategate rabbit hole after yet another bigfoot-adjacent photo of Princess Kate Middleton began making the rounds in the press.

On Saturday, Middleton and her royal hubby, Prince William, were spotted out and about near Windsor Castle. While onlookers may have told TMZ the Princess appeared "happy, relaxed, and healthy,” several fans were not buying this story, convinced that the person in the photo was most definitely not Middleton.

“The royal family really think we’re stupid huh,” wrote “@dayasbtch.

“This video has finally radicalized me. aside from her entire face and hair being wrong, that’s not her gait,” added @rachel_handler, dubbing the incident as “gaitgate.”

Meanwhile, @meaganrosewrite took issue with yet another detail of these candid snaps — the fact that Middleton appeared to be doing some heavy lifting in the midst of recovering from a “planned abdominal surgery” back in January.

“The woman who just had abdominal surgery is carrying her own heavy bags??” they asked alongside the hashtag #KateGate.

But it wasn't just her totes that sparked further questions. Later on, another photo seemingly purporting to be from the same outing, one depicting Middleton looking very different than the first set of snaps.

“Not the same women? Yall just showed us this video. Which one is from the farmhouse?” speculated @Oh_Katie_Babie.

We can only hope that the next time the Royal Family tries to pap their way out of a scandal, they’ll remember to hand the princess of Wales a copy of the day’s newspaper. She’s gonna need it.
