The only thing worse than getting sucked into a meeting? Getting nearly blown to bits by a live grenade, a lesson several members of a Ukrainian village council discovered the hard way after their Friday morning meeting ended in flames.

Though it’s unclear what prompted the deputy village councilor to go rogue, interrupting an already-tense discussion by detonating three grenades in Keretsky’s village headquarters in western Ukraine, the damage was immediately apparent.

Beyond the smoke and fire that filled the meeting room — a sight captured in a now-viral Facebook Live clip —  26 were reportedly injured in the explosion, six critically so, per BBC News. Emergency personnel are still attempting to revive the suspect.

We can only hope that all members of the council make a swift recovery — and that their managers will now think twice about which meetings could have probably been an email.
