The entire world is feeling the effects of the recent Coronavirus pandemic and there are just so many things to consider while trying to stay safe.  Dr. Jeffrey VanWinger took it upon himself to make this extremely informative video about how to handle grocery shopping and food during this very sketchy time.  You can watch the video below and some of the key points are listed underneath that.

Also, don't use your cloth / reusable bags when possible, leave them in the garage, outside, or wash them when you do use them.




Clean your table or counter before you bring in your groceries, keep one side of the table or counter as a "clean space" where only unpackaged / repackaged items are placed to limit contamination.



Remove items from external packaging when possible with items like bags of cereal, cans of soda or other beverages from their carton, cookies, crackers, and other snacks or food items.
