Gran Turismo Sport received a big update earlier this year. While it was a tough game to recommend at launch, it's since gotten a whole lot better by increasing its car count beyond a measly 162, along with a proper single-player mode for you to destroy A.I. opponents.
But not everything is perfect. Among its greatest failures are some broken physics when driving in reverse. Yup, who needs second gear when you can just throw your Subaru WRX STi into reverse and fly through a straight at over 150 miles per hour? Shifting is overrated.
Although hilarious to watch, this issue has pissed off quite a few players who play the game to live out their dream of being a professional driver like Ayrton Senna.
Players using VR have been able to exploit the system by turning their body position around in real life and pretending the rear window is the front windshield. Apparently the game doesn't mind, and if anything encourages it with lightning fast lap times that leave opponents staring at your front license plate as it disappears into the distance.

Of course, driving backwards isn't exactly a walk in the park. Limited visibility and turning the car around at the beginning of the race keep it from being the perfect solution for people who hate losing. But even then, it's worth playing around with if only to say you got a gold trophy driving in reverse.
Hopefully we'll see a fix soon, and maybe that update will include a new course or two. That'd be nice.
