Can’t evict someone from their house if there’s no more house.

When Oklahoma deputies showed up to serve an eviction notice to 82-year-old Anthony Goulding, he had other plans.

As this bodycam footage shows, Goulding decided that if he had to leave the property, he was going to make the property itself go away too. And so, he covered himself and his surroundings in gasoline, an event that was caught on camera by the officers.

Cops managed to save Goulding’s wife, Mary, who suffers from Parkinson’s disease, and take her to an extended stay facility. Goulding himself did not survive the fire.
