One of the quirks about our wonderful country is the presence of HOAs. While other nations have, you know, laws, ours has not only laws and regulations but a widespread array of fiefdoms, where you must pay hundreds of dollars monthly in order for a sweaty bald man to tell you that your fence is three inches too tall.

In this case, an HOA president allegedly nearly hit a woman with his car — but he didn’t want to hear any complaints about it. I mean, he *is* the HOA president, after all.
