A couple months ago we interviewed Razed, the game modder responsible for some of the most realistic PC graphics mods in the world. Since then he's been hard at work on a new update for his popular Grand Theft Auto V mod, NaturalVision remastered. Today, the update has been made publicly available.
The new update includes a plethora of additions targeted at making Grand Theft Auto V look as realistic as possible without sacrificing FPS. Below are just two of the highlights among many listed on the mod page:
Greatly improved ExtraSunny and Clear weather during all hours — includes precise sky / fog colors, distinct ambient lighting, enhanced shadows / godrays, better water reflections, better sunrise / sunsets and much more.
Reworked cloud colors and variety in Clear weather — now the game randomly chooses between two different styles of light clouds.
So how good does it look? Let's put it this way: I'd be surprised if there's a better looking game out there right now. Just check out these three screenshots:
