You thought $1000 was too much for a graphics card? Wait until you see this.

Nvidia has just announced the Titan V, a piece of machinery that it calls the most powerful graphics card ever made. Of course, you're going to have to empty your IRA account to get one, because it's a whopping $3000.

Supposedly, this thing will calculate 110 TFLOPS per second, which is more than 8 times the power of its current top-tier card. With 21.1 billion transistors, we certainly don't doubt it, but it almost sound like something out of a science fiction movie to be honest.

Perhaps the most bizarre element of all is that this thing wasn't build for gaming. Rather, it's an A.I. computational piece, presumably to use for realizing Elon Musk's envisioned matrix world if you have too much spare money laying around.

What we do know for certain is this thing is an absolute beauty that has technology inside that we don't even comprehend. Nice.
