Felix Kjellberg, aka PewDiePie, world renowned gamer and one of the most popular people on the Internet has officially been banned from the biggest online market in the world, China.
PewDiePie, who is originally from Sweden was banned for comparing Chinese President Xi Jinping to Winnie the Pooh, an offense which could land you some serious jail time if he were a Chinese citizen. A few years ago Internet users in China began sharing images of Winnie the Pooh as a form of protest against the Chinese Communist Party and to mock is President Xi Jinping, leading to a full removal of Winnie The Pooh from the Chinese Internet.

So PewDiePie is in no way the first person to feel the ban hammer laid down by China, but he is the latest.
In the video above he also comments on events events involving Blizzard and Hearthstone gamer Ng Wai Chung who was banned for supporting Hong Kong, who has since received his 'taken' prize winnings.
China took copyright of Pewdiepie in 2017 without me being able to stop them anyway, guess they can't sell any more pewdiepie wedding dresses now lol pic.twitter.com/EkdWR63bYW

#pewdiepie #reddit Felix, you are indeed banned in China. You know, you have about 600000 fans in China. I am one of them. Most of them are reproduced through Chinese video websites, not directly following your YouTube channel. When we heard that you were banned, we were very sad pic.twitter.com/nlG0PlWjv3
