Have you ever wanted to shit your pants? No? Okay, great.

For those of you who answered “yes” to that question, have we got the place for you. In southern New Hampshire, a new spa is opening that caters to people who “seek acceptance, respite and care.” And also people who wear diapers.

That’s right — the aptly-named Diaper Spa is a place where you can laugh, love and play, all while quietly dropping deuces in your pants. “The space is decorated to look like a baby’s nursery, complete [with] small beds, toys and folded diapers,” reads a piece on the WHDH site. “Services include ABDL (Adult Baby/Diaper Lover) nursery spa care, therapeutic support and life coaching, and a 24-hour stay called the Diaper B&B. All clients are required to wear adult diapers.”

The owner of the spa, Colleen Ann Murphy, is a licensed medical doctor who is starting the business with the best of intentions. “It helps them process whatever trauma it was,” Murphy said of ABDL and her spa to WHDH. “A lot of times, it’s childhood trauma when they were in diapers or just getting out of diapers, and they want to feel that safety that they had before that.”

That said, neighbors are divided on the issue. One is quoted as saying that it’s “not right for the community,” while another said that the existence of the spa “just wouldn’t bother me.”

Personally, I think if a business can sustain itself by having paying customers poop their pants (one hour reportedly costs $350), that’s just capitalism in action, baby. I might not get it, but it’s not illegal; as long as they clean up after themselves, I couldn’t be bothered to literally or figuratively give a shit.

But who cares what I think? I wanted to know how adults who actually wear diapers feel about this place. To do so, I Googled “adult baby diaper forum” and clicked on the first link that didn’t give Chrome a security warning. As it turns out, they’re also not thrilled about the idea — or at least, they’re not enjoying the press attention. “I doubt ABDL will ever be mainstream or even really accepted in society,” argued one user.

“Personally speaking, I don’t care quite as much about acceptance,” offered another. “I just want to do my thing and be left alone or without the fear of being suddenly unemployed.”

“As I have stated, I am conflicted about this development,” shared a third. “I would not go there, despite being an Autistic Adult Baby.”

Still, some said they would actually find the service helpful in processing some of the trauma that led to them being adult diaper wearers in the first place. “I’ve heard about it and definitely want to take a look. In addition to incontinence, I wear because of trauma,” explained a forum user. “Once things cool down, I’ll give it a shot.”

For those who think that this is a kink thing, well, yes, it can be, but Murphy says that the Diaper Spa is a place designed for therapy, not to get off. “Company policies listed on the Diaper Spa website note that all clients are subject to screening, including a check of the National Sex Offender Database, and that ‘absolutely no’ sexual interaction is allowed,” notes WHDH.

So if you’re a diaper wearer in the New Hampshire area, head on down to the Diaper Spa. Just please don’t take public transit to get there.
