VR soccer in real life.

Is virtual reality just like real life? Well, if a recent experiment is any indication, we have a long way to go.

A group of professional Norwegian soccer (they call it football) players decided to mix the two. With VR headsets attached to their face, they were able to see a bird's eye view of the field while walking around.

It was all a bit of a mess. Most players had difficulty picking themselves out of the group since they were wearing matching uniforms. Walking around like mummies, it took a while before any even came close to scoring.

Oculus VR just released Oculus GO this week, which is an affordable $199 standalone headset that doesn't require any additional hardware, and apparently it's pretty good. We just might see more crazy stuff like this in the near future.
