Actor Ray Liotta has passed away at age 67. According to TMZ, Liotta was filming in his latest movie, Dangerous Waters in the Dominican Republic. The actor is said to have died in his sleep, and no foul play is suspected.


His career stretched all the way back to the early 1980s with his work on the TV Series Casablanca as well as Our Family Honor. The actor then struck gold with his role as Shoeless Joe Jackson, in the heartwarming baseball epic, Field of Dreams.


He clearly caught the attention of a filmmaker some of you may know, by the name of Martin Scorsese. And the rest is history.



Easily his most popular role, Liotta portrayed mobster Henry Hill in the Academy Award Nominated film, Goodfellas.



Ray Liotta would go on to have an extensive film career working on projects such as Blow, ESPN's 30 for 30, and Grand Theft Auto: Vice City.



The actor was born in 1954. And he leaves behind a daughter, Karsen Liotta and his fiancé, Jacy Nittolo who was present with him in the Dominican when he passed. Rest In Peace, Ray Liotta. 1954-2022.
