Gamers who grew up during the 90's have a lot to be excited about today. Not only is Spyro the Dragon back, but he's returned in the best way possible.

Instead of trying to reinvent the series, this $39.99 package will simply reintroduce these classic platformers with all their original style, but with a dramatically improved visual presentation that's most similarly compared to the Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy. In-fact, the popularity of that game is the very reason this one exists.

Spyro the Dragon was birthed in 1998 on the PlayStation where it was considered one of the best platformers during the era. Unfortunately, after the third game the series had a lot of trouble performing well, and by 2008 Activision effectively gave up on it.

It's now been 10 years since a new Spyro game released, and although many thought it was dead, it's the biggest topic in gaming this week. Welcome back.
