After a few hard-fought weeks, the Swifties have emerged victorious in the war for Taylor's heart, and reputation.

After weeks of angry open letters, online vitriol, and even a scabies-related diatribe from the internet’s favorite pot-stirrer, Azalea Banks, Swift has reportedly called it quits with her rumored boyfriend, The 1975’s ever-controversial frontman, Matty Healy. The news of their alleged break-up came on Monday, June 5, after a friend of the singer allegedly described the “Karma” songstress as “single” while speaking to TMZ.

Yet, instead of mourning Swift’s alleged soured romance as they did after the star split from her longtime partner, actor Joe Alwin, earlier this year, Swifties began celebrating the news on social media, expressing how they hope she and Healy are “never ever ever getting back together.”

“What whiplash from ‘please let this breakup be a rumor’ to ‘please let this breakup be written in stone,’” joked Redditor u/ heartsinthebyline in a thread on Swift’s subreddit.

“We survived the great war,” quipped u/Giants41, alluding to the title of one of her Midnight's bonus tracks.

“Rip to Taylor for being sad but I will be so happy to not hear about this person ever again,” added u/seravivi, as u/leurw joked about just how “excited” they are to “exclude him from the narrative.

The Swifties of Twitter also got in on the fun, heralding the end of Swift and Healy’s short-lived “Love Story.”

“The Swiftie union wins another victory at the bargaining table!,” joked NBC’s Kat Tenbarge.

“Thank you, Azealia Banks,” added @maroon_affairs.

Meanwhile, other fans contextualized the news with Swift’s recent album reveal.

“TAYLOR SWIFT FALL OUT BOY COLLAB. TAYLOR SWIFT HAYLEY WILLIAMS COLLAB. MATTY HEALY TAKEN OUT BACK. IVE NEVER WON LIKE THIS BEFORE,” mused @kissevermore, referencing the newly-released tracklist for Speak Now (Taylor’s Version), Swift’s upcoming re-recording of her 2010 album.

What a great day to be a Swiftie.
