Earlier today, we covered the remote Peruvian district of Alto Nanay, and its Ikitu indigenous population’s struggles since mid-July with alleged seven-foot-tall armed alien attacks

According to community leader Jairo Reátegui Ávila, the beings “appear to be armored like the Green Goblin,” and can levitate. “I shot one of them twice and he wasn’t injured,” he said. “We’re very frightened about what’s happening here in our community.”

Prompted by the town’s very real terror, Peru dispatched authorities to investigate the attacks, including the case’s investigative prosecutor Carlos Castro Quintanilla, who just released his report as covered by La Republica. According to his investigation, the town’s terror has nothing to do with extraterrestrial beings, and everything to do with the greed of illegal gold miners from Brazil, Columbia, or cartels.

The explanation makes sense, considering authorities destroyed numerous illegal mining dredgers across the region in 2019 and 2020, and illegal Amazonian operations have been known to enact terror tactics to divert attention away from their activities.

Carlos Castro Quintanilla also reported that the miners were in possession of high-tech equipment, including jet packs, which may have been responsible for the reports of levitation.

But that claim has led to a new conspiracy; that the United States government is secretly funding the illegal operation, or at the very least, that the miners have gotten their hands on United States tech. It is public information that the US recently sent “naval units and foreign military personnel with weapons of war” to Peru, with those units scheduled to remain there until the end of 2023. Might that tech include jetpacks, or a “predator” like suit?

At the very least, it would appear that the Alto Nanay attacks are not the result of paranormal activity, but instead very normal, very predictable, human greed.
