Area 51 music festival Alien Stock has been cancelled amid fears of a humanitarian crisis

Sorry everyone, but we will not be storming Area 51, nor will we be listening to shitty dub-step music in the desert for two days as the music festival Alien Stock has been cancelled.

Matty Roberts the creator of the Storm Area 51 Facebook page and founder of Alien Stock has pulled out of the event amid fears of a 'humanitarian crisis', claiming the festival organizers were like Fyre Festival 2.0.

This news comes just a few weeks before the September 20th event date and has caused many people to say "oh thank god!" According to some the event will still be going forward just on a much smaller scale than originally planned.

Connie West a local bar owners told KVVU-TV that, "I'm going to do it on my scale," as she had already committed to being a part of the event and bringing tourists into a desert is always a good thing for business that are trying to survive off the aurora of the Area 51 desert.

But not everyone seemed to get the message, as news broke recently about two Dutch YouTubers who were arrested for trying to break into the Area 51 US Air Force base.

Dutch YouTuber

YouTuber known as "Ties" with a following of over 750K was arrested along with a friend after trying to gain access to the restricted base. It seems the pair had been taking a trip through the south-west and made the wrong decision of trying to live out their meme fantasies.

The Lincoln County Sheriff's Department have been urging people to alter their plans and instead attended an EDM festival happening in Las Vegas instead of trying to storm Area 51, yet they still expect more and more people to arrive in the coming days and weeks. The two Dutch YouTubers told authorities that they can read English well and just ignored the multiple "No Trespassing" signs leading up to the US Air Force base.
