We've all seen the video of celebs singing the old Beatles song "Imagine" to 'help' us get through the pandemic.  Thanks guys, your performance created many more videos making fun of you, so in a way, you did provide us with some much needed comic relief.  That video gave rise to a slew of parodies that never got any traction.  It also gave rise to some fantastic videos from REAL musicians, some of whom collaborated from multiple locations and came up with some of the greatest basement-made music ever.  Here are the top five as chosen by yours truly, in no particular order:

We start with a cover of the Foo Fighters' "Times Like These," whose artists collectively call themselves the "Live Lounge All-Stars."  A Fantastic collaboration including Dave Grohl, Taylor Hawkins, Dua Lipa, Coldplay, and others:

Next up we have Metallica with their song, "Blackened 2020":

We'll follow that with Neil Diamond's "Sweet Caroline" Corona virus PSA:

Now here's Charlie Wilson, AKA Uncle Charlie, performing three songs in one video, "I'm Blessed," "Forever Valentine'" and "Outstanding" for the ‘Saving Ourselves: BET COVID-19 Relief Effort’ special:

And finally, we'll end this with a short video of someone who, while not a famous musician, is a musician nonetheless.  Her song beautifully captures her sentiments of transitioning from teaching music at school to teaching from home (volume warning).  Enjoy:

I hope you enjoyed my list.  If there are any I missed, put them in the comments.  Happy blogging, fellow Ebaumers!
