Last week, actress Emma Roberts took a break from her busy schedule of maniacally laughing on the beach to address Lea Michele’s alleged illiteracy in a manner her Scream Queens co-star only wishes she could — reading the Glee alum for absolute filth.

On Tuesday, January 24, Roberts dropped by Andy Cohen’s juviderm-fufled talk show Watch What Happens Live, where she only seemed to fan the flames surrounding the long-standing rumors regarding Michele’s reading abilities … or notable lack thereof.

“The biggest misconception is that she cannot read,” Cohen quipped of Michele, who has famously appeared to struggle with teleprompters, cue cards and even children’s books.

“Well, we have not been in book club together,” Roberts snapped back, before very conspicuously trailing off … much like Michele’s eyes while attempting to traverse any piece of text.

Despite the American Horror Story star’s non-denial, it seems Michele, who may or may not have sold her reading comprehension skills to the devil in exchange for landing the role of Fanny Brice in the Broadway revival of Funny Girl, has historically found these rumors to be no laughing matter.

“I went to ‘Glee’ every single day; I knew my lines every single day,” Michele, who has since started to embrace the rumors, explained during a sit-down with the New York Times last year. “And then there’s a rumor online that I can’t read or write? It’s sad. It really is. I think often if I were a man, a lot of this wouldn’t be the case.”

Yep. Definitely, something a literate person would say.

So despite being illiterate, as Gazzy Garcia (a.k.a. Lil Pump) once out it… "I take drugs like it's vitamin C, I'm a millionaire but I don't know how to read."
