Earlier this week, Hidalgo ventured where few TikTok famous girliepops have before, speaking out against influencer snark page r/dotegirlssnark for roasting the appearance of her mother’s hands.

“Whoever has time to sit on Reddit and make posts about people that they don’t know, you should probably get a life,” she began her now-viral video, one pointed at snark posters who jumped on a screengrab of her mother's hands while getting what appears to be a manicure.

After hitting the trolls with a wintery take on the now-old adage of touching grass —  “You should probably go outside and touch the grass or make a snowball and throw it at the wall and do something better with your time than hate people and screenshot ugly pictures of people, and bully them,” she continued — she began roasting the snark page as a whole.

“Some of it, thank you, keep me in check, I understand, we all need that sometimes. The rest of it? If my podcast is just so insufferable, why are you posting about every episode and clearly listening to 45 minutes of it every single week?” she asked before flipping her audience the bird. “Come on now. I’m done.”

So take it from Hidalgo and her mother — sometimes it’s better to ignore the haters … and slather your hands in sunscreen.
