The YouTuber, gamer, and general asshat Ian Miles Cheong is upset because he’s not turned on by a female videogame character in a trailer for Playground Games’ upcoming title, Fable. In a tweet that has racked up over 20 million views worth of hate clicks, roasts, and toxic discourse, Cheong states that the character is “Continuing the trend of weirdly unattractive female main characters in video games,” and that “You have to go out of your way to make female characters look this awful.”

Critiquing an animated female character’s appearance is a new low for a man who regularly does the same to women in real life, and as someone so obviously concerned with vanity, Twitter users turned their attention to his own profile photo.

“God really fucked around with the character creator on this one,” @OrdinaryGamers joked.

Fable is an action role-playing game, and like other games in that genre, reportedly has in-depth character creation. That means that the character in the trailer will not look like the character a player winds up creating – unless they want them to – and past games have even allowed you to choose your character’s gender.

Not only is Ian Miles Cheong a sorry excuse for a political commentator, but it also seems like he doesn’t know much about gaming either.
