Drake plays Fortnite with Ninja on Twitch.

Usually when you hear about celebrities playing video games, it's little more than legend told while in interviews or on late night talk shows. Not this time.

This week famous Twitch streamer Tyler "Ninja" Blevins paired up with one heck of a formidable cast. We're talking NFL rookie JuJu Smith-Schuster, hip hop artist Travis Scott, and pop star Drake. The sort of thing you'd only expect to see on an episode of Conan O'Brien's Clueless Gamer.

This wasn't just some hearsay, either. It was all recorded during a livestream that ran nearly an hour long, including awkward conversations, teamwork callouts, disappointment, and everything else you'd expect from a gamer guy playing with three celebrities he's never met.

Originally, the livestream began with Ninja playing exclusively with Drake before JuJu and Travis joined During that time a new Twitch record was set with over 630,000 concurrent viewers tuning in at a single time, which is nearly double the 388,000 set by Dr. DisRespect last month.

The livestream was a pretty big deal for Twitch, serving as one of the few times a mainstream audience tuned in to watch a bunch of guys play video games.

Some other streamers made a joke of the sheer insanity of Drake joining a Twitch livestream, including loltyler1 who did a pretend phone call with him, seen below:

As it turns out, Drake has been playing Fortnite for around three months. The game's popularity is out of this world at this point. Hell, you can watch us play the game on our Twitch livestream sometime. Join us!
