Growing up I used to skateboard. It was one of the hardest thing I've ever spent time trying to learn, and I actually have legs.

Felipe Nunes doesn't have that luxury. Since six years old he's been legless, and although that's turned every sport into hard mode, early on he found himself fascinated by skateboarding. More than a decade after his parents bought him his first skateboard, he recently competed at the Tampa AM qualifiers, one of the sport's' biggest stages.

To say that his showing  was impressive would be a bit of an understatement. While I was still struggling to kickflip off a curb after two years of practice, Felipe can kickflip front blunt stall and 270 front lip with the kind of style you'd expect from a Cique du Soleil dancer. Check it out:

Felipe was flown out to the event by Tony Hawk who has been impressed by his recent social media videos, which include some serious tech like fakie 50-50 to half cab flip out. A beast, to say the least.
