Jail Escapee Arrested After Posting Vacation Photos On Instragram - Nicholas Grove escaped from county jail in Idaho by scaling a fence and went on the run. He might still be running now if he didn’t post a bunch of photos of himself on social media. He not only posted photos on Instagram, but then bragged about his escape on Facebook. He was arrested at a resort in Mexico in November of 2015 after posting a bunch of selfies to his Instragram. “Social media certainly played a role originally because this particular individual bragged about his escape on Facebook,” U.S. Marshal Brian Underwood said. Yeah dummy, not a good idea.

Man Chokes Wife for Dissing IndyCar - David Wilson, a man from Indiana, was having a good time with his wife at an Indianapolis 500 viewing party until his wife did something that he simply could not forgive. She said Nascar was better than IndyCar. Wilson did what any dumb, drunk, IndyCar fan would do in that situation – he choked her until she managed to call 911. The police came and made an arrest shortly thereafter. The two had been drinking all day. He was arrested for domestic battery and strangulation.

Man Shoots Himself In Foot To See How It Feels - Okay. Not to be rude, but this guy is either hiding something or he is incredibly dumb. Adam Hirtle, a 30-year-old from Colorado, was charged with prohibited use of a weapon and reckless endangerment after shooting himself in the foot because he wanted to know what it felt like. The police responded to a call of an accidental gun discharge, but Hirtle let them know it was on purpose. He shot himself in his garage. Well, at least he knows now I suppose. What a genius.

Old Man Throws Urine On Teen - All was going fine in 84-year-old Carlton Weatherford’s world until a 13-year-old boy came along and vandalized his front walkway. An argument ensued, then Weatherford went out on his balcony and dumped a bucket of urine on the teen. He was arrested for battery. While this was dumb, and most certainly gross, we bet the kids in that neighborhood won’t be messing with him anymore. Sometimes you have to give the crazy old guy in the neighborhood some space.

Robert Sweeney was arrested after he was seen wearing a white jacket, a white shirt and white shoes, with no underwear and pants at a Florida beach. To no one’s surprise, he seemed pretty drunk. According to the officer’s report, Sweeney said: “What’s wrong, officer? I live right there, and I was going to get some pants right now. I was coming home from the beach and I realized I had lost my pants over there. So I was coming home to get a fresh pair.”

Man Arrested For Refusing To Leave Jail - An Arizona man named David Spurlock was arrested on a meth charge and sent to jail for a short period of time. This is normal, but what happened next isn’t. When he was released, he refused to leave. They finally attempted to force him to go, but on the way out he attempted to steal a van that was filled with frozen food with the prisoners. Needless to say Spurlock got his wish and was returned to jail. The charge this time was burglary. Maybe it was the meth, or maybe Spurlock is just dumb.

Drunk Guy Has 10-Year-Old Drive For Him - Now this is class all the way. A New York man named John Barling, who is 46 years old got so drunk he decided to have his 10-year-old drive him home. When police arrived they found the boy, who could barely see over the steering wheel, and Barton drunk in the passenger seat. Barling was charged with endangering the welfare of a child, a misdemeanor, and permitting unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, and a traffic infraction. The police were called because of a report of a child driving a vehicle.

Josh Watford had been arrested for DUI and was cuffed in a cruiser when his wife Amber Watford stole the car and drove off. She was arrested for theft. At least Josh will be able to visit his wife in jail, as the charge she was arrested for was way worse than the one he was facing.

Drunk Man Pretends To Be Cop, Sets Up Fake DUI Roadblock - Okay, this guy is the dumbest criminal of the year hands down. Logan Shaulis, 19, set up a fake checkpoint at 4 AM for drunken drivers, even parking his car diagonally on the road, and setting up flares to make them stop. The worst part? Shaulis was drunk. One person that was stopped by the fake trooper says Shaulis asked to see a driver’s license, registration and insurance papers. When the real troopers showed up, Shaulis tried to hand a BB gun to the car’s passenger and said, “I can’t get caught with this.” He faced charges, including drunken driving, impersonating a public servant and unlawful restraint.
