Ariana Grande – Final Fantasy Brave Exvius
We all knew Ariana Grande could sing. Don’t believe me? Go on TikTok 9 out of 10 sounds you hear will be her voice with someone dancing to the music. But she ended up lending her image to Final Fantasy in 2017. While it was only a mobile game, she ended up being one of the most powerful party members you could have, and she was still a singer.2
Metal Gear Solid V: Hideo Kojima
Kojima has never been a stranger to meta-commentary. The character of Otacon in Metal Gear Solid was based in part on Kojima and his interests and hobbies. But in MGS: V Kojima took things to another level by quite literally putting himself in the game as a captive to be rescued. Keith David (actor) in Saints Row IV
First, he was Spawn, then he joined up with the 4th Street Saints in Saints Row IV playing himself. But you'll most recognize Keith David from the over 45 films and shows he's acted in over the years, most notable along side Frankie Munez in his breakout film, "Agent Cody Banks."7
Shaquille O’Neal – UFC Undisputed 2010
We all knew Shaq could move after watching him play in the NBA for over a decade, but we never knew he could fight! Those of us that still use cheat codes ( I know, they still exist) can unlock Shaq in UFC Undisputed 2021. At 7’1 he’s a walking tank of destruction.8
Fred Durst - Fight Club
The first rule of Fight Club is you never talk about Fight Club, but we can talk about Fred Durst who was in fight club. The game wasn’t the best fighter in the world, but Fred was a playable character, and listening to Limp Bizkit while using him to punch guys in the face is always a good time.11
Ozzy Osbourne - Brutal Legend
Heavy metal legend and the Prince of Darkness made an appearance in the 2009 hard rock game, Brutal Legend. Ozzy lent his voice to the script and gave the game an absolutely legendary performance like only he could. So if you've never given this title a run, we suggest checking it out.12
Conor McGregor - Call of Duty Infinite Warfare
Everyone talked about Kit Harrington appearing in Infinite Warfare because at the time Game of Thrones was still all the rage, but who knew Conor McGregor was in the game as well? I had no idea! Conor says at one point he was addicted to the franchise so being part of it is a dream come true.
