Sometimes life just decides to kick you when you're down.
Sometimes it just seems like the universe has it out for and you cannot, for the life of you, figure out why. Sometimes you can't help but wonder if the ancient Greeks were right and whatever pantheon of super-powerful deities watches over the affairs of mortals are just as petty and vindictive as the rest of us and you're the little ant that caught the eye of one d-bag god with a magnifying glass, doomed to end your meager existence under a work boot . Sometimes it just seems that way.
Many times, those moments of bitter misfortune go by unnoticed by the world at large; one man's immense misfortune may be but another man's slow news day. But, sometimes, one person's stroke of bad luck manages to capture a wider audience at large -- all thanks to the internet from which we scoop these accursed pics out.
