In "the old days" slogans and catchy tunes sold products. They got stuck in your head and before you knew it, you were stocking up on chips ahoy trying to prove to them that you COULD take a bite without biting a chip (and if you did and you called their number, they sent you a free box- as a kid, my friends and I did this)
