26 Airbnb's That Are a Guest's Worst Nightmare

Airbnb and other vacation rental by owner services sound like a great option when you are looking to travel or go on vacation and don't want to stay at another big chain hotel.

However, the experiences typically go one of two ways. You either have a great stay, with friendly and helpful owners, and full functioning amenities, or you end up in a borderline dungeon, where nothing works, there are strange smells, bugs, and discourteous hosts.

In this collection of photos we see the latter. Disgusting, filthy, broken, and just generally disappointing rentals from money-hungry owners clearly don't think guest comfort is a priority.

Water has been yellow and metallic tasting in our Airbnb for a week now. Owner says they can’t do anything about it.
