60 70s memories

The 70s were such a mixture of terrible fashion, weird music, but incredible food and vibes. Take a step back in time and see what our parents and grandparents lived through- the good, the bad, and the hideous.

Yes, kids had to go out to play video games (and pay money)

This was like magic, I wonder how it worked and why they discontinued it.

The cars were pretty ugly in the 70s

Hickory Farms was actually a place and not just a company that showed up on the Christmas/seasonal aisle

The rooms of the 70s were a little TOO too.

This looked like something you didn't want to hit your toe on at 1 am.

I don't know why they had metal baby shoes but it was a thing and everyone seemed to have them

Bean bag everything. And the younger generations thought they came out with it.

Printed toilet paper- everywhere. But did it have to match your bathroom or was it just what you liked??????

Did people burn these or were they dust collectors?

I wouldn't want to wake up to that every morning. Ouch.

So here we are, feeling happy we were not born in the 70s. Were they all quite blind? Or did they try to clash?

The old phones were a lot better. They could slam the phone down, leave the phone behind, and if they weren't home, they just didn't answer.

This was a little fireplace like heater in their bathrooms. My grandma had one but we were never allowed to get close when it was lit. The flame glowed purple

I guess this was the '70s answer to our wall flowers.
