You can try to fight me on this but I promise, you will lose. Heroes and villains alike just look incredibly more badass after having the absolute snot kicked out of them.

If you gave me the option of having pristine, mint condition, Peter Parker just put it on, straight from the dry-cleaners spider-man. Or torn, tattered, bloodied, Tobey Maguire's face popping through the mask spider-man. I'm taking the damaged one every time.
