Random photo of a dock with a ship? Actually, this ship is the USS grandcamp in 1947, when it caught fire in the hold, with 2300 tons (not lbs) of ammonium nitrate. This fire would cause the largest non-nuclear bast in human history. Mushroom cloud was 2000 feet tall, pedestrians would be knocked over by the blast form 10 miles away, buildings flattened, windows shattered. The molten steel shrapnel would fall from the sky at hypersonic speeds, causing many more secondary fires Miraculously, one of the people in this photo (all are volunteer firefighters) would survive the blast. 468 people were killed in the explosion.7
Just a couple of dude brahs hanging at a house party? nope, the kid on the right is Tyler Hadley, who beat his parents to death with a hammer and then threw a party while their bodies were still in the house. this picture was taken at the party. The guy who called the police is actually the guy standing right next to him in this photo. Earlier that night, Tyler had confessed to him about the murders. It really makes the photo a whole lot stranger considering that the guy next to Tyler is probably thinking about calling the cops, or already had.8
Beautiful little girl posing for a photo? Would later become the president of the United States of America Well, you just got trapped. That's Franklin D. Roosevelt, photo taken at the age of 2 1/2. In those times, boys at the age of 6 or 7 would wear dresses. This dress was considered gender neutral.
