Sonic the Hedgehog is Coming to Netflix With 3D Animated Show 'Sonic Prime'

The world's favorite hedgehog is coming to Netflix in his very own show, "Sonic Prime."

A release date has not been announced yet, but Sonic the Hedgehog is coming to Netflix in a new 3D animated series called, "Sonic Prime."

Sonic fans were quick to share their excitement with the news of his new tv show. If you follow what we do here, you'll know Sonic has a ton of fans, and not all of them are children.

Sonic is coming to Netflix soon in a 24-episode action-adventure series, which is being produced by Wildbrain Studios. In addition producers from Ben 10 and Big Hero, 6 have been brought on board to oversee the series.

And as you'd guess, fans are already excited about the show. Some hyped fan even noticed Netflix has a place holder up, though no sneak-peaks can be found there.

You may have noticed the wording in the press release. The show is for "kids, families, and long time fans of the franchise." Lol oh, they know, and no shame to us older folks who grew up with the little devil, who will be tuning in when the show premiers.

Currently, there isn't an exact release date, but fans can look forward to seeing Sonic on their home screens sometime in 2022.
