The entire gaming world is obsessed with Palworld at the moment. The Pokemon-like rip-off has proven that gamers want to play Pokemon games, even if they aren't made by Pokemon. 

Which, if you know a gamer, should come as a surprise. But what is surprising people is just how many people are dying for these types of games. So far, Palworld has sold over 3 million copies on Steam and reached a 2.2 million player concurrent rating. Baldur's Gate, which won Game of the Year in 2023, only ever reached an active player concurrent high of 800k. So to say Palworld is catching on would be an understatement.
