Plotholes in video games aren't a rare occurrence. Mostly, games are an intricate work that is a collaborative effort between creative and tech experts. This is why, sometimes, things are willfully ignored for more balanced gameplay or an exciting story.

God Of War - There's something that must've bothered many of us in the original God of War trilogy. How does the concept of hell works? Supposedly if Kratos dies, he should fall into the underworld. But does his damaged physical body stay with him? Or Is it his soul that falls into hell? And if it is his soul, How can he access his weapons and reach back to the surface? Something's odd about this aspect of Greek mythology.

Super Mario - Finding a speck of logic in Mario games is not the best thing to do, but here we go. Why do Mushroom people let a monster like Browser go to kidnap the princess again and again? Moreover, why do they play sports and go-kart with him? Moreover, why does the kingdom send a plumber to rescue the princess?

Bioshock Infinite - The endless possibilities of Bioshock Infinite is one big mishmash of thoughts that doesn't have an exact meaning. Why does Elizabeth have powers just because her finger was split? How can Booker be so many different characters at once? Why does the concept of a floating city exist, and Why does the place with lighthouses exist? It seems like the writers entangled themselves in so many plot twists that they eventually created plotholes instead.

Call Of Duty MW2 - How is it that in a world full of security cameras and at a place like an airport, the terrorists remained unrecognized? Just makes no sense.

God Of War 2 - In the second game, Kratos can travel time after fighting the Sisters of Fate. The point is, if He could go back, he should've gone back in time to stop himself from killing his wife and daughter—what a waste of opportunity.

Assassin's Creed Brotherhood - During Assassin's Creed Brotherhood, Desmond is controlled by goddess Minerva who forces him to kill Lucy. This is utterly bizarre, knowing how gods like this can not control assassins. So either Desmond was never an assassin, or it's a minor plothole.

Pokemon Red and Blue - Why does professor Oak not know his grandson's name? We get that developers want the player to decide the rival's name, but still, it's quite silly.

Batman Arkham Continuity - This is a common error that is bound to happen in prequel titles. First, It's odd that The Dark Knight has access to some of the best gadgets in one of his first years and less technically advanced gadgets in Asylum and City. Second, It is odd that Bane knows Bruce's identity in Origins and never mentions them in the first and second Arkham game.

Grand Theft Auto 4 - The oddest moment in the game is when Niko is contemplating his kills in the main story while he's literally running over and destroying peds while playing the game. If he can kill so many people without remorse, why does he show emotions in the story missions? This is the same with Grand Theft Auto V aswell.

Uncharted 4 - The problem for linear games is sometimes there's not enough freedom of thought while bridging two sequences. One example of this is the clock tower in the game that literally crashes. After the obviously loud crash, Drake walks out into a market full of people going about their business, not thinking a second about the loud crash of the clock.

Resident Evil 2 Remake - Getting bit by zombies should mean instant virus contamination. This is explained when the officer at the beginning of the game is infected due to being bit. However, why is it that when Leon or Claire get bit while fending off a zombie, they lose only a bit of their health?

Mass Effect 2 - The best part of RPGs like Mass Effect is the freedom of choice and doing what you want to do. This is why it's odd why Illusive Man will spend money bringing Shepard back to life as a symbol of hope if he was acting like a jerk in the first game.

Life Is Strange 1 and 2 - The main protagonists having the power are not well explained in both the games. It's like they get the powers and run with it, which is why it seems more like a plot hole. The fact that these characters are not much concerned about why they have the powers.

Legend Of Zelda - Ocarina Of Time - While playing Ocarina of Time, players will come across an interesting side story. In the game, Link learns to play a song in the future from the windmill guy. Interestingly, Link is the one who goes back into the past to teach it to him. Which brings the question, who made it in the first place?

Gears Of War 3 - It is safe to say that many people play Gears for gameplay and multiplayer fun. However, some people still care about the story. Not completely explaining why Locusts have a human leader in part 3 is lazy at the writer's end and makes it seem like a plot hole instead.
