11 Tesla Drivers Who Miraculously Walked Away From Insane Accidents

A California man was arrested from his hospital bed for attempted murder, after he drove his wife and two children off of the side of a 250 foot cliff. Miraculously, all parties survived with less than critical injuries, and were conscious when rescuers arrived. The accident has garnered major national news attention, and a fire chief said that it "was nothing short of a miracle today that they survived."

Teslas often get a bad rep for safety due to the flammable nature of their batteries, but in reality they are involved in fewer car fires than their gasoline powered counterparts. The Tesla in this accident is being praised for the role it played in the safety of its occupants, and has prompted people to share other instances of Teslas saving the lives of their passengers.
