- Avengers Disassembled: 10 Things That...
  - I mean, I doubt this will suddenly convince you, but Ms. Marvel has consistently been one of the most popular and best-selling titles for Marvel. And she served as an obvious audience surrogate character since Spider-Man was tied up as an exclusive. And even if you just hate the character, most people don't consider her (or, by extension, the game's campaign) to be anywhere near what made this game a disaster.

  - I would kill (possibly literally) for more F-Zero. But regarding Time Killers, I personally feel it hasn't aged as well as its contemporaries (though mashing buttons and chainsawing off a head remains highly satisfying)

  - This is fair. I have mentioned this in other articles, but they had the perfect storm of price war competing consoles and shitty, high-profile games like the Pac-Man port. That crash was largely why Nintendo went out of their way to market their console as an entertainment system (complete with toys like R.O.B. the Robot) rather than a game system

  - I don't really have a dog in this fight, but almost any fan following will look small if you are comparing to to national or global populations. Popular is always a relative concept, but if you have over half a million fans and enough of them throw money at you to just play video games, then you're already doing better than the vast majority of people who have to work real jobs.
