87-Year-Old Farmer in 1929 Offers His Wisdom

He's not really sure what to make of some of this stuff, but he seems to take it all in stride and is definitely pretty spritely for his advanced age.

I think the wisest thing he says is that the world these kids live in isn't THAT much better than their parents, and the world their kids will live in won't be that different from theirs in the broader sense of things.

Certainly the advent of technological advances changes the way we live, but many of us still struggle as others thrive, life remains uninterested in being 'fair,' and most of us just want the same basics we always have - a decent home, a stable income, and a loving family. Some things never change.
