Technology in the present day is advancing at an exponential rate, with progress in all fields rushed along with help from new techniques and computer assistance. It is safe to say that modern day inventors are as clever as they've ever been. That being said, that doesn't mean that people in the past didn't have some damn cool ideas that could still be useful today. People have always been clever after all.

This video shows off some cool inventions that might be worth trying again today, or at the very least taking another look at. I for one would love to know why parallel parking can't become perpendicular parking. Surly that would be so much easier.
