In an absolutely astonishing dash cam video, a Sarasota woman slams head first into a police
SUV.
Kristen Kay Watts (52) barreled head-on into a police SUV driven by Trooper Shuck. Shuck maneuvered directly in front of Watts' vehicle. The act of bravery was emboldened by the fact that Shuck saved multiple lives of those running in the Skyway 10K.
Trooper Shuck did sustain a concussion, but is recovering at home. Watts was also injured, however neither sustained life-threatening injuries.
It's not looking good on the legal side of things for Watts. In her first court appearance she had asked for a public defender, as she is currently unemployed. I'm sure she's not winning brownie points anytime soon. When asked if she would have trouble making it to her court appearances, she joked "Well, considering I don't have a car..."
Needless to say, karma will work its magic on this one.
