Fire Truck Makes Pathetic Attempt to Extinguish Fire On Top of a Crane

A crane fire broke out in Corpus Christi Texas at the Harbor Bridge construction site, overlooking a CC Hooks minor league baseball game. The fire was allegedly caused by the crane's drum brake overheating, and one woman at the baseball game was transported to a local hospital after being struck by falling debris.

Two workers were aboard the crane when the fire broke out and were forced to evacuate after attempting to extinguish it. The Corpus Christi fire department also made an attempt to extinguish the fire from the ground, as one baseball fan caught on video. However, the fire truck's water doesn't come anywhere near striking the flames. It's ok, we all have trouble getting it up every now and then. At least those firemen now know how far their hoses can shoot.

The injured woman is reportedly in stable condition, and a Flatiron/Dragados spokesperson stated that safety managers "will follow all regulatory reporting protocols and requirements.”
