San Fransisco Robbers Don't Care That They're Being Followed, Break Into Numerous Cars on Camera

"They just didn’t care, obviously, that they were being followed."

That's what a witness told Fox News reporter Henry K. Lee, after sharing a video of brazen car robberies from San Fransisco's Fisherman's Wharf. The city has developed a reputation for being light on crime, and this video certainly does nothing to help quell that stereotype.

"There’s almost zero chance @SFPDc @SFMTA_Muni will do anything about this Lexus unless it is parked at an expired meter," @akifmalik commented.

In the clip, a Lexus RC 350 is driving along a busy street, while a man jumps out every few yards to break a window and snag a bag. The operation is remarkably efficient... just in the middle of broad daylight.

"They don’t care because he’s wearing a mask, and plate is blacked out," @JFG0995 observed.

According to Lee, the blue SUV in the second clip was carrying passengers, who screamed after getting robbed.

Open crime like this hardly seems worth the risk, but as @thatseguy put it, "It's almost as if they don't fear consequences."
