Gavin Free first became well-known for starting the popular YouTube channel "The Slow Mo Guys" with his friend Dan. His work on that channel helped him move to the U.S. where he now works for Rooster Teeth.
During an episode of the Rooster Teeth Podcast (Ep. 285), Gavin put out a hypothetical scenario in which you have the option of taking $10 million, but a snail is forever hunting you down, and if it touches you, you die. This scenario continues to pop up on the internet every few years, but in 2021, it became huge on TikTok and Reddit after spawning many, many memes.
