People are discovering Tram bowling for the first time, thanks to TikTok after tram drivers from across Europe competed in the 10th annual European Tramdriver Championship on June, 3.

Hosted in Oradea, Romania, drivers competed in six different events including stopping, emergency braking, speed estimation and a fan favorite, Tram Billiards which involved ramming a tram into giant inflatable ball to knock over as many inflated pins as possible.

The championship is an extremely wholesome display of skill and as @spidrawebster explained on YouTube, “quite a few of the feats involve overcoming one’s safety training – for instance, getting as close to the dummy as possible yet still not touching.” Vienna’s team won first place, with Gothenburg in second and Prague in third.
