Eating a smart creature should require an equally intelligent method of cooking.

This is “takoyaki,” a street food that originated in Japan that features a fried batter filled with octopus, tempura, pickled ginger, and green onion. The dish is made by pouring the batter into a pan filled with half-spheres, then using chopsticks to rotate and stuff the balls into themselves until they’re perfectly round.

It’s an absolutely insane method of cooking, but watching it is utterly hypnotic.
