Last year HBO announced they would be adapting the highly popular Naughty Dog production The Last of Us, produced by game developer Neil Druckmann, and Craig Mazin, the creator behind HBO's Chernobyl.
A release date has not yet been announced, but speculation has it airing sometimes late this year (doubtful) or early 2022. But fans can relax knowing the series appears to be in great hands after yesterday's confirmation that Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey, the former Game of Thrones costars would be leading the series.

Rumors circulating before the official announcement said Mahershala Ali had been offered the role, though that rumor was quickly put to bed. But as most of us already know, no matter who was cast in the role, some fans would take issue. But we think they did a bang-up job.
Lol they are not even close to the characters

But enough of what we think, what do you think? Are you excited about this series? Are you tired of Pedro Pascal? Will the lady of Bear Island live up to the role? Only time will tell.
