Tom Warren, reported in The Verge yesterday, that Xbox Series X preorders placed through Amazon might not all be shipping on time.

In am email to customers, Amazon said it expects to ships some consoles, but that many of the preorders would not be shipped until later November if not December.

Though not everyone who preordered through Amazon got an email notice of delay, some people out there, (we assume aren’t spam) have posted their successfully, in-delivery screenshots.

According to Amazon, once stocks are refilled, orders will be completed as quickly as they can, siting a very high demand in the new Xbox Series X console.

So if you ordered an Xbox Series X on Amazon, and got an email saying it wouldn’t ship until after Christmas, we feel for you.

We’re sure it doesn’t help, but know your not the only one getting the shaft. Maybe try BestBuy, or GameStop? Heck maybe Fb Marketplace might actually pull through this time. Could be worth a shot.
