The Game Awards are here again to remind us that this stupid year can't end without arbitrarily recognizing one game as being better than others, despite the game industry's insistence that gaming should be just about having fun.

Today TGA released the list of six titles competing for Game of the Year, and the inclusion of the controversial The Last of Us Part II reminded people how much they hated that game.

Rather than being anything positive, this phony awards show is just an excuse to rile people up and possibly increase sales for whichever titles win.

There's no good reason to tune into this crap, but it is funny to see people so triggered over their precious video games.
